Charity
It's not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.

Susan has always been a philanthropist. Her first memory of charity is from when she was four years old, bringing all the neighbourhood pets into her house to run her own “SPCA”. Since then, her methods have become a bit more traditional, such as volunteering coaching sports, starting a community garden, fundraising for those in need, and inspiring others through motivational speaking.
Susan is a firm believer that the best way to deal with grief is to lend a helping hand to others. After a rough personal year, during which her father passed away from early onset dementia, Susan took an impromptu solo trip to Cambodia on Christmas Day. There, she met a tuk tuk driver that invited her to teach at his self-funded English school. She also befriended a young woman and helped her escape the sex trade by renting her an appartment for four mounths. When she returned to Canada, Susan decided to donate and raise $30,000 for the New Dream of Cambodian Children Organization (NDCOO) to purchase the land to build the tuk tuk driver’s students a new school.
